Applications are now open for the 2026 Virtual DLF Forum Digital Storytelling Fellows program. This new fellowship experience is directly connected to the Forum’s new Digital Storytelling Presentation session format and centers on digital storytelling, emerging technologies, and ethical practice across libraries, archives, and museums.

A cohort of 8–10 Fellows will participate in interactive Digital Storytelling Presentation sessions, contribute to discussions and reflections, and help shape conversations on storytelling, technology, access, and community engagement in cultural heritage work.

Selected Fellows will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to the 2026 Virtual DLF Forum
  • A $250 stipend
  • Participation in a small Fellowship cohort
  • A pre-Forum virtual orientation
  • Visibility through publication on the DLF blog

We welcome applications from early-career professionals, students, contingent and adjunct practitioners, first-time DLF Forum attendees, professionals from under-resourced institutions, and practitioners whose perspectives are historically underrepresented in digital libraries and cultural heritage spaces.

Applications include a short personal statement and a few brief questions.
